Exhibition Stand Design
This design study explores the intersection of retail display design and exhibition stand design — a context where brand presentation, product display and visitor engagement must all be resolved within a single, coherent spatial concept. The work demonstrates how exhibition stand design can draw on retail design principles to create environments that are both visually compelling and commercially effective. The design concept integrates product display, brand graphics and a welcoming visitor area within a considered spatial arrangement. The stand layout is developed to guide visitors through a clear brand experience — with display configurations, material selection and lighting all working together to highlight key products and communicate the brand's identity. The proposal is developed through 2D drawings and 3D visualisation, illustrating how the design process can progress from initial concept and space planning through to a visualised proposal that communicates the stand's atmosphere, material palette and branding integration. The visualisation allows the spatial arrangement and product display to be reviewed and refined before any production decisions are made. The project demonstrates the design thinking relevant to exhibition stand design: understanding the exhibition context, resolving visitor flow, integrating brand identity and developing a spatial concept that performs effectively within the constraints of an exhibition environment.
